How we can help

We work with clients in three ways. A fixed-fee audit that maps where the money goes and what to fix first. Project builds that deliver on what the audit found, or on other needs you have. And embedded leadership, which is a leader on hire for a specific, bounded need.

Three ways to work together, from a short diagnostic to a standing seat at the table. Most engagements start with the audit and deepen from there. If you already know you need a senior operator for an interim or fractional engagement, start there.

A natural starting point

Readiness Audit

Before you decide where to invest more, find out what's actually blocking you from reaching your potential. The Readiness Audit is a systems review of your marketing and commercial engine: where the money goes, what it returns, and whether the operation can carry what you're asking of it. You leave with a figure, a confidence level and an owner on every finding, and the order to act in.

Fixed fee. Four to eight weeks. If the audit does not give you findings worth acting on, we lower the price or refund it.

ProcessHow it runs
Calibrate
A free first call. We map your systems and roles onto the tests before anything is signed, and you keep the map.
Connect
Read-only access to the systems that matter, agreed system by system. Nothing is exported without your consent.
Interview
The people who run each system and each number.
Deliver
Three deliverables. You get the documents in good time before the meeting.
DeliverablesWhat you receive
Reality Map
Where the money goes and what it returns, test by test, with the evidence behind each figure.
Readiness Map
What is ready to run, what still needs people, and what to fix before you spend more.
The Path
The moves, sequenced, each with its capture and an owner. The version you show the board.

Project Builds

Builds either shore up the foundation or add new capability on top of it. We specify the work, control delivery, and stand behind the result.

Data mapping

Definitions agreed across marketing, sales and finance, a reporting layer built on them, and the board pack that follows.

Agency Review

Every agency's scope, contract and cost set against what it delivers, with a scorecard that grades both sides and a decision on each: keep, renegotiate, consolidate or bring in-house.

Cost Rationalisation

Licences cut, contracts renegotiated, one owner per tool, and a rule that keeps the spend from coming back.

Automated Routine

One named routine running without hands: the month-end pack, lead routing, content operations, follow-ups. Measured before and after.

Agent Workflow

One workflow taken from concept to production against a defined outcome, with decision rights, sign-off and an audit trail.

AI Assistant

A named job in the business, customer-facing or internal, run with an assistant in production and watched against a real result.

Embedded Leadership

Sometimes what you need is a specific person. A senior marketing or operations lead inside the business, with a defined mandate and a goal. The responsibility of a full-time hire, without the permanence. It's often where the most value is created.

Fractional

A senior marketing or operations lead in your team one to two days a week. The mandate has a defined agenda and an end state. For example, bringing capability in-house and automating the routine work, or pulling several organisations into one after an acquisition. An engagement runs from six months, with no long notice period, and we spend time early on setting a clear brief.

Typical seats: marketing lead, operations lead, or the integration lead after an acquisition.

Interim

Full-time cover of a marketing or operations seat for a defined period: a leave, a resignation, the months until the permanent hire. Full operational authority within the mandate, with a structured handover at the end.

Typical mandates: parental leave, a resignation, the months until the permanent hire, or a scale-up that cannot yet carry a full-time lead.

Board

Non-executive collaboration at board level. For companies professionalising governance, or boards adding digital and AI competence where an independent perspective strengthens the decisions.

Typical roles: independent board member, board observer, advisory board chair, or similar.

How engagements typically work

It starts with a conversation. We agree on the question worth answering, scope the work to a fixed shape, and tell you plainly if we're not the right fit.

First call

We work out whether there's a real problem here, and whether we're the ones to solve it. No pitch, no commitment, just a conversation.

Scope

A fixed shape where we define what's included, what it costs, and the milestones that mark it done. We'll work out the details together.

Delivery

Senior-led from start to finish. The person you meet in these first steps is the person who does the work.

Start a conversation.
